Team Bio
Writer/Director Angeline Loo, Producers Anna Canton, Shreya Gejji and Alex Farley are the team behind ‘FIVE STAGES’. An all-women team passionate about telling stories that challenge how women are depicted on the screen in a multicultural, contemporary world.
Angeline tells stories of diverse lives to spark conversation around the immigrant experience in Aotearoa through her scriptwriting and visual storytelling. Based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Anna has 18+ years in the screen industry bringing skills in creative development, cultural leadership and project management. Shreya is a Screenwriter and Producer with a PhD in Creative Practice. Alex is a highly driven storyteller with a passion for platforming feminist-led narratives.
This project presents an opportunity for a cross-cultural workspace that harnesses the team’s unique pool of experiences and backgrounds to create this sassy, hilarious and powerful story about grief and flawed friendships.
