PASC & PISA presents- How We Got There: Idea to Impact with Flat 3

Ever wonder what it takes to get a series up and running, despite tough circumstances?

Pan-Asian Screen Collective presents How We Got There: from Idea to Impact. Join us for an engaging and informative discussion where we delve into the creation of a successful series from its inception to delivery!

PASC members JJ Fong, Perlina Lau, and Ally Xue, the creative and producing team behind Flat 3, reunite to share insights on how an independently sourced $1,000 investment and a promising idea propelled their project to three successful series, leading to prestigious festivals in Melbourne, New York, and London. Flat 3 served as a career launchpad for their subsequent ventures, including Friday Night Bites and the internationally-acclaimed premier budget series, Creamerie.

Facilitated by Marc Laureano, How We Got There will touch upon IP conception, development, team building, production, and distribution - topics that offer practical considerations for new and emerging practitioners eager to kickstart projects in the series space. During the session, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and connect with fellow enthusiasts during a post-discussion mingle.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge and network with industry peers!

This event is free for members of PASC, PISA, and NAW. Non-members are requested to contribute a koha upon entry.
